The Bling-ed out Vampire
October 7, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Good morning all! I had promised that I would do a post when I received the Edward/Bella bracelet fashioned around the one in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.
I actually received the bracelet VERY quickly after ordering it from Lara, but it’s been me who has been too busy to post.
Now, there are TONS of these out there, especially on eBay. Some look great, and well, others not-so-great. I decided to email Lara as I liked the looks of hers. She emailed me back quickly and I told her what I wanted as she gives a choice on the color of the crystal heart, what kind of clasp you want (lobster or toggle), as well as the size of the chain.
I decided on the clear Austrian crystal and the lobster clasp.
The picture here doesn’t do it justice. I was very happy when I received it - it is indeed very lovely. It looks dainty, yet I don’t have fear of it breaking easily. The heart really catches the light and reflects the colors of the rainbow. A definite must-have for Twilight fans. I’m going to wear mine to the preview of the movie in November.
Want one for yourself? Just email Lara at: thepaperbackplace@verizon.net Just tell her you heard about it on my blog.
Blessings on all your hopes and dreams.

The Social Vampire
September 17, 2008 | 2 Comments
Good morning! Yes, I’m talking about vampires again! (see, I really can talk about something else besides Freebie Force and the fact that today is payday and I’m going to get paid….)
Any of my regular blog fans know I love good vampire stories, movies, television, and literature. Of course we lost the good television part with the cancellation of Moonlight. I’ll say it again: CBS - you blew it!
But, I do love the Internet. Where else can you so quickly connect with others who share your interests? I’ve just recently been drawn into the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. I talked about that in my recent post, Vampire Love
I really love this series and if you even remotely like vampire lit - you MUST read this series. Or at least read Twilight. (you’ll get hooked, trust me) The fun part is that these books, and their author, Stephenie Meyer, have a HUGE fan base. A Google search shows pages of fan message boards and sites.
I thought it would be fun to connect with others who love the books so did a Yahoo Groups search. I belong to several Yahoo Groups, and even run one on EFT/Abraham-Hicks, so figured there would have to be one for Twilight. Sure enough, up popped The_Twilight_Chat_Group. It’s got 400+ members and is growing every day. I joined and have found them to be a very friendly and informative bunch of people from all walks of life and ages. GREAT fun for Twilight fans. (warning: they ARE a very chatty bunch, so if you decided to join and receive individual emails expect upwards of 250+ a day!)
It is a moderated group — which I personally like. Why? It’s not because of censorship - but to help get rid of the spammers that love to invade chat groups. It also keeps the group “family-friendly” which is good for this group as it does attract a very wide age-range.
So, do you like Twilight and would you like to connect with other obsessed fans? (okay that IS a joke - I am nuts about this series too…) So much so that I actually also did a search to see if there were bracelets out there inspired by the charm bracelet Bella wears in the book. Of course there were! I actually just ordered one. You’ll find many, for example, on eBay - some that look pretty darned good, and of course others that don’t look quite so nice. I settled on one done by a woman named Lara. I loved the look of hers and we talked back and forth via email. Very nice woman, I liked the looks of it in the picture, so I decided to give it a try. I’ll let you know when it comes in and what I think of it.
In case you don’t know the movie comes out on November 21st. It originally was going to be released on December 12th. However, the Harry Potter movie was pushed back to 2009 and Twilight jumped in and took the opening.
Now…anyone up for a midnight Twilight movie release outing?
Blessings on all your hopes and dreams.

This is one of those days…

This is one of those days that stops one right in one’s tracks. I don’t think there are many who will ever forget the significance of this date.
I remember.

Vampire Love
September 10, 2008 | Leave a Comment
So…what did you think this blog post would be about?
Well, if you have been a reader of my blog for any amount of time, you’ll know I love vampires. I still haven’t gotten over the idiot network CBS’s cancellation of Moonlight. To say the powers-that-be at that network lack brains would be an understatement. Okay, you get the drift, I think they made the dumbest EVER move in the history of network cancellations. I’m getting over it…not.
BUT….everywhere I kept hearing about Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight vampire series. I’d resisted reading it as it falls in the “juvenile readers” genre. That sounds like it should equate with a slightly jazzed up “Dick and Jane” book. (hmmm, Dick and Jane with fangs?) Any way, I gave in and got hooked. It IS a wonderful series. Yeah, a little more adult stuff would have been fun, but I got hooked anyway.
I read the first three within a week and a half. (yes, I read very fast) I haven’t yet read Breaking Dawn but intend to soon. Part of me is really disappointed that it is not yet available on my trusty e-book reader the e-Bookwise 1150.
I do read e-books. I’ve tried several devices - a Palm Pilot, a eBookman, and the 1150. LOVE the 1150 as it is about the size of a paperback. The Palm Pilots and eBookman are too small for me. I’d like to see the Amazon Kindle, but I can’t swallow justify the $360 price yet.
I’m rambling, but the point is I’d probably not have finally given into giving the Twilight series a chance if it weren’t for the fact that it was available for my e-Ebookwise 1150. Breaking Dawn isn’t on there yet. I may break down and buy it in hardback.
Now I’m anxiously awaiting the movie which has been bumped up to November. I say anxiously because it’s so hard when you really, really like a book and they make a movie out of it. Most of the time they change major plot points. Most of the time the actors don’t look like the characters you’ve come to know in your head. Yet you hope it will work.
Blessings on all your hopes and dreams.

Michael Phelps is Amazing!
August 17, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Good morning everyone! "Wow!" is about all I can say about Michael Phelps. Like most of the United States (if not the whole Universe) I've been glued to the Olympics and just totally amazed by Michael Phelps. (and yes, I can post about other things than just Freebie Force …which I still love by the way!)
I am in awe of his swimming abilities and the way he has presented himself during the Olympics. I am so happy for his mother. One could just see the love and the feeling of pride she has for her son. When he threw the roses up to his mother the other night I had a lump in my throat.
I've enjoyed the Olympics for many reasons this year. The opening ceremony was incredible. I don't care of some of it was a bit pre-recorded; it still was the most amazing opening ceremony ever. (hmmm, I have to watch how many "amazings" I put in this post - I swear Tom Cruise is NOT writing this…)
I normally am not a volleyball fan. Hated it in high school. Yet Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh pulled me in! I like the beach volleyball style with two players. I hope they get the Gold medal.
I also want to give kudos to Dara Torres! I'm sure she's a little disappointed she isn't coming home with Gold - but wow - she only missed it by ONE ONE HUNDREDS of a second! She really tried on the relay swim. What a role model she is for women (and all people really) who are over 40!
The only negative comment I can make about the Olympics, is that like many others, I feel the Chinese female gymnists are more likely twelve years old or even younger!
Gymnastics has always been my favorite in the Olympics. I miss the old scoring. The new system just doesn't have the same feeling to it. No more "10's". Oh well. Congratulations to Nastia Luikin and Shawn Johnson. Both Gold and Silver for the US! (way to go girls!)
Blessings on all your hopes and dreams.

The Freebie Force Blog
August 11, 2008 | 1 Comment
Hello Everyone!
I'm happy and proud to say that I have been selected to be the first guest writer on the Freebie Force Today blog . Please stop by and take a look.
If you have ever read my blog, you'll know I am a HUGE fan of Freebie Force . I've been a member since March and I've received countless freebies from products, services AND cash. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't receive something in the mail. Well…I guess Sundays might figure into it, since there is no mail delivery on that day. Still, I have received things on Sundays from downloads and other goodies. Suffice it to say, I love Freebie Force and more than get my monthly membership fee's worth and then some.
I haven't done the "I just got paid today" with Freebie Force posts, but I HAVE gotten paid twice a month like clockwork. I could do those posts and mean them. Freebie Force pays commissions on the first and third Wednesday of each month. I'm happy about that!
There are so many business opportunities out there that drain one dry! Freebie Force is the FIRST one I've ever been involved with that I receive FAR more back financially than I put in. I'm also a part of a large, helpful team called The Star Force team. We help each other to get the most out of Freebie Force, whether people join just for the freebies, or the business opportunity, or a combination of both.
It's a win/win situation and I'd like to say: GO URGENTLY HERE NOW !
Be on the lookout for the new Freebie Force infomercial! Want to see it in it's entirety? Just GO URGENTLY HERE NOW !
Blessings on all your hopes and dreams.

The New Freebie Force Infomercial
July 30, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Hi All! I'd done a post with a link to the new Freebie Force Infomercial - but I heard on a forum that it wasn't approved yet - and as I do things completely above-board - I removed the post until I know it's permitted for me to post it.
They did a WONDERFUL job, as I have seen it. As soon as I am sure I have permission to post a link or the infomercial itself, I'll place it here.
Blessings on all your hopes and dreams.

Good morning all! It’s a beautiful morning here in Central Florida. It hasn’t quite reached melting hot yet and because we have had rain recently - the grass is nice and green.
I’m also excited as the brand-new Freebie Force infomercial will launch tomorrow morning. This version will utilize a call-in center rather than a web site so people will be able to talk to live people and ask questions.
As soon as I am able, I’ll either post the new infomercial on here, or give a link where you can view it.
As you all know, I absolutely adore Freebie Force. Never mind the compensation plan –there are the freebies! These alone more than pay for the small membership fee. Yesterday alone, within less than five minutes I had over $50 worth of freebies on their way — and that includes cash.
And because I am part of the even larger Star Force Team, I have — and am able to give — fantastic support. This is not a join and then be forgotten type of thing. Whether you want to join just for the freebies, or you join for the extra income, or a combination - I am here to help. And so is the entire force of The Star Force Team.
Do your self a favor - go to my Star Force Freebie Force website and take the free tour to find out more. Explore the “tell me more link” - see if you would enjoy tons of freebies and the opportunity for extra income.
Blessings on all your hopes and dreams.

New Cat Clips
July 19, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Good afternoon everyone! We all have our favorite time-wasters - or as I prefer to call it using a more positive-minded term, “mental vacation”. YouTube can be addictive with the things people come up with to post. My personal favorite is done by Henson Ray called Cat Clips.
Since I last posted about the adventures of Trey and Chase, “The Wizard of Wit” has posted several new clips. Take a little mental vacation time and watch! I’m posting my newest favorite below. (I’ve put his website right afterwards - worth visiting and seeing the rest of the cat videos along with all his other fun stuff!)

Drop by for a laugh.
Blessings on all your hopes and dreams.
